Town Hall Hire

Charges and Conditions of Hire for the Public Hall, Meeting Room and Kitchen

Charges: Public Hall - licensed for public entertainment
Meeting Room private

Public Hall: Private      
  8am - 7pm Monday - Thursday £9.50 per hour
  7 pm - 12 midnight Monday - Thursday £12.60 per hour
  8 am - 7 pm Friday - Sunday £12.60 per hour
  7 pm - 12 midnight Friday - Sunday £15.90 per hour
       
Public Hall: Commercial      
  8am - 7 pm Monday - Thursday £11.40 per hour
  8am - 7 pm Friday - Sunday £13.40 per hour
       
Meeting Room: Day (to 7 pm)   £8.70 per hour
  Evening (after 7 pm) & Saturday £11.40 per hour
     
Kitchen: Private £2.10 per hour
  Commercial £3.10 per hour

Disabled Access to the Main Hall is via the side gate; if you require this facility for your hire of the Hall, please state on the booking form.

Notes:

1) Minimum Booking Period is 1 hour.
2) After 10.00 pm, Public Hall bookings attract an additional charge of £8.70 in respect of Town Hall Caretaker's Duties.
3) Charges include light and heating. Broken or damaged kitchen equipment will be charged for at cost.
4) Check when booking what services you are paying for so as to avoid doubt on the night.
5) The council does not hold a Justice's Licence for the Sale of Intoxicants on the Premises; hirers and their caterers must ensure that they obtain an Occasional Licence well in advance of the date of the function where a bar is required.
6) Special quotations on request for functions on submission of full details.

8) You may advertise your event on the Noticeboard in the foyer of the Town Hall.

Unloading/loading should be done as quickly as possible and in no case exceed 30 minutes
