AUDIT COMMISSION
Correspondence
from the Audit Commission confirms that it proposes to appoint BDO
Stoy Hayward LLP as auditor to the Town Council. The appointment
will be for a five year period commencing with the 2007/08 accounts.

NCC / Atkins
Parish Highways Representative – REP's Review
The
REP's Review Newsletter from Atkins confirms that the County Council
has decided that its new Engineering contract will be awarded to
the consortium May Gurney – Wilson Scott Patrick with effect from
29th March 2008 . Over the coming weeks Atkins will ‘demobilise'
its operation in Northamptonshire and May Gurney – WSP will put
in place the systems to achieve continuous working at transfer.
The Highways Representatives Scheme will continue under John Robinson
and a list of the scheduled meetings for 2008/08 is available from
the Clerk.
