Towcester Town Council

My wife and I have lived in Towcester for 45 years and I have served as an independent parish and town councillor for more than 35 years during which time two generations of our family have been educated in Towcester schools.

I am generally interested in any matter which affects Towcester and its residents. The issue currently of great concern to me is the recent reorganisation of other tiers of Local Government. Which I fear could pit the interests & need of the towns & villages of Daventry & South Northamptonshire against the totally different, but equally valid, interests of urban Northampton. Hopefully, I will be proved wrong but either way, I'm sure that the role of our Parish & Town Councils will be even more crucial for the future wellbeing of our communities.
