Brackley Road Cemetery

Brackley Road Cemetery was opened in 1885 and has provided a burial place for the residents of Towcester. Towcester Town Council is responsible for the management and maintenance of the Cemetery. We are committed to improving the Cemetery and ensuring that it is a well-maintained and suitable resting place for loved ones.

The cemetery is location at Brackley Road, Towcester, NN12 6HJ.

The cemetery is open to the public, daily from dawn to dusk, with access through the main gates. The Council reserves the right to close the grounds and limit entry at any time. There are no toilet facilities at the Brackley Road Cemetery. The nearest public toilets are in the town centre.

Dogs must be kept on a lead and under control at all times. Owners are required to clear up after their dogs.

Anti-social behaviour and threats to visitors and contractors will not be tolerated and will be reported to the police.

Please note that, weather permitting, maintenance of the Brackley Road Cemetery will be carried out every Tuesday during the mowing season.

The burial records for the cemetery from 1885 - 1936 are available on the website of Towcester & District Local History Society
