Southern Urban Extension (SUE) Cemetery/Allotment Site Update

The transfer of the cemetery/allotment site is still in the hands of the legal representatives for the Council and Persimmon Homes and the transfer will complete at the same time as other amenities in the SUE.  The Town Council's Solicitor is awaiting information from WNC to complete the Draft Deed of Transfer.
- Update as of 24 November 2025

Allotments

Taking on an allotment is a huge commitment, requiring considerable investment in time and energy but the rewards, even if just measured in fresh air and fresh produce, more than compensate for the effort. If you want to know more about taking on an allotment, visit the National Allotment Society website: www.nsalg.org.uk

Towcester Town Council currently has one allotment site to the rear of Malthouse Court in the town centre.

Only current residents of Towcester may apply for allotment plots within the parish of Towcester.

Waiting list for allotments are long (typically around 5 years) but land has been allocated for this purpose within the new housing development southern extension to the town.

If you would like your name to be added to the waiting list, please complete the online form via the button below.

If your contact details change or you no longer require a plot, we would be grateful if you would also let us know.
