Towcester Tidy Up - 9th/10th May 2026

Download Programme

The next Tidy Up sessions will take place over the weekend of 9th and 10th of May.

As usual there will be 4 sessions of approx. 2 hours each.

SATURDAY
10am - meet at the car park outside the Community Centre at bottom of Recreation Ground.
2pm - meet at Leisure Centre car park at the end nearest to the Silverstone Brook.

SUNDAY
10am - meet in car park outside WNC Waste Mgmt offices, Old Tiffield Road, just past the B&M Store.
2pm - meet in car park outside Towcester Mill Brewery.

Please feel free to attend as many of the sessions as you want - we won't hold it against you!

All picking grabbers, gloves, hi-viz jackets, bag hoops and black sacks will be provided.  We have new hi-viz jackets now so it is worth coming along just for the chance to wear one and lots for little ones too.

We have some extra shorter grabbers for any children who are attending provided they bring at least one parent with them.

Dogs can attend provided that they can operate a grabber successfully.

Please pass this information on to anyone who you think might be interested, especially if you belong to an organisation in the Town, then pass on the good word..

However you receive the information, either by forwarded email, social media, pigeon post, word of mouth, PLEASE INFORM ME before the event if you are coming along as I need to know how many people are attending which session(s) so that I can ensure that I bring along the right amount of equipment.

So, please inform me of which session(s) you are attending, how many will be in your party (including yourself) and how many children under 10 are attending per session. Please let me know asap so that I can send you a copy of the H&S stuff in advance.

If you are attending then please remember to dress for the weather and wear stout shoes.

We won't be venturing into the Silverstone Stream so wellies aren't obligatory, unless you are particularly fond of your wellies of course, then who am I to say you can't wear them.

If you have any questions then please contact me as below.

Best regards
