A43 Southbound Buckingham Road roundabout to Oxford Road roundabout

National Highways (NH) have informed us of some upcoming essential road maintenance on the A43 between Buckingham Road roundabout to Oxford Road roundabout at Brackley.

When will this work take place?
NH be carrying out work overnight, between 9pm and 6am on the night of 17 July 2025. In order to carry out this work safely, there will be a full southbound closure from Buckingham Road roundabout to Oxford Road roundabout.

What does this mean for you? 
During the closures, a fully signed diversion will be in place. Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout. Signage will also be in place from Towcester heading southbound to advise of the closure and appropriate diversion route.

NH will make every effort to ensure the impact on the local community and travelling public is kept to a minimum and always aim to work to the programme, however unforeseen circumstances or adverse weather conditions may mean changes and apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
