A43 Towcester to M1 Overnight Road Closures 20 October to 7 November 2025

National Highways will be carrying out essential resurfacing, surveying and vegetation clearance work on the A43 between Towcester and M1. The work will provide a smoother, safer carriageway for road users.
When will this work take place?
Work will be carried out overnight, between 8pm to 6am, from 20 October 2025 to 7 November 2025.
In order to carry out this work safely, NH will install northbound and southbound closures of the A43 from Towcester roundabout to the M1.
What does this mean for you?
During the closures, a fully signed diversion will be in place.

Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout.
NH will make every effort to ensure the impact on the local community and travelling public is kept to a minimum. NH always aim to work to the programme, however unforeseen circumstances or adverse weather conditions may mean changes and apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
