ADVANCE NOTICE OF ROAD CLOSURE - A5 Towcester to Weedon

National Highways will be carrying out essential resurfacing work on the A5 between Towcester and Weedon to provide a smoother, safer carriageway for road users. 

When will this work take place?

Work will take place overnight, between 8pm and 6am, from 21 July to 23 July. 

In order to carry out this work safely, there will be full closures of the A5 in both directions from Towcester roundabout to Weedon roundabout.

What does this mean for you? 

During the closures, fully signed diversions will be in place. Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout. 

Every effort will be made to ensure the impact on the local community and travelling public is kept to a minimum. National Highways always aim to work to the programme, however unforeseen circumstances or adverse weather conditions may mean changes and apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
