National Highways - A5 Survey - Watling Street, Towcester

National Highways will shortly start carrying out surveys on the A5 through Towcester. The works will help planning for future requirements in the area.
𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞?
Monday to Friday, between 9:30am to 3:30pm, from 19 January 2026 to 5 February 2026.
Works will be undertaken in the following order and will include temporary traffic management:
19 January - A5/Richmond Road junction - 3-way traffic lights
20 January - A5 Watling Street outside Shepherd and Co
21, 22, 26 and 27 January - A5 Watling Street/Vernon Road/Reffield Close area
28 January - A5 Watling Street/Brackley Road/Northampton Road junction
29 and 30 January - Northampton Road/Moat Lane junction
2 February - A5 Watling Street outside Shepherd and Co
3 and 5 February - A5 Watling Street between Marling Fish Bar and Pizza Time
