Notification of overnight works - A5 / Old Tiffield Road

National Highways will be carrying out road surveys on the A5 near the Old Tiffield junction overnight, Monday to Friday, between 8pm to 6am, from 10 December to 18 December. Additionally, on 18 December there will also be works taking place during the day from 8am to 5pm. No traffic management will be required for the daytime works.

In order to carry out this work safely, they’ll install multiway traffic lights at the junction of the A5 with Old Tiffield junction. The works will help National Highways planning for future requirements in the area. 

National Highways will make every effort to ensure the impact on the local community and travelling public is kept to a minimum. They aim to work to the programme, however unforeseen circumstances or adverse weather conditions may mean changes.
