A43 Abthorpe Roundabout - White Line Refresh Overnight 30 Sept to 1 Oct 2026

National Highways will be carrying out essential white line refreshing work on the A43 at Abthorpe roundabout. This will improve safety and visibility of the road markings in the area. 

Works will take place overnight from 8pm Wednesday 30 September 2026 to 6am 1 October 2026. 

To carry out the work safely, lane closures will be installed on the Abthorpe Road roundabout but no full closures or diversion will be required. 

National Highways will make every effort to ensure the impact on the local community and travelling public is kept to a minimum, and always aim to work to the programme, however unforeseen circumstances or adverse weather conditions may mean changes.   They apologise for any inconvenience or disruption to those living close to the works and will make every effort to carefully manage noise levels and additional lighting to minimise the impact.
