Update on new Community Building and Sports Pitches Transfer

Towcester Town Council recognises the community’s frustration at delays to the transfer of the community building and football pitches.

We are working closely with West Northamptonshire Council to ensure all legal arrangements are in place and that financial risks and liabilities are properly addressed. This includes securing the commuted sums in line with the Section 106 agreement, which are essential for the sustainable future of the facilities.

Our priority remains to enable the site to be brought into use for the community as soon as it is safe and viable to do so.
